Where did the weekend go???

Yah, like where? Where did the weekend go? It's not longer here. Almost Monday, watching the Red Sox game, putting the finishing touches on my My Creative Classroom presentation, writing out my to do list for tomorrow and wow! it's almost Monday. Where did my weekend go?

I worked Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday part of the day so, I guess I can say I worked but... well, those were two nights and about 3.5 hours out of a Sunday. So, it can't be that. I know I took some pictures this weekend. They were on my little camera. I haven't used my big camera much, the little one takes fabulous photos and it's easy to carry around. So, here's a few shots I took this weekend.

**Note: I'm not a football lover, it was Bryce who wanted Daddy to play catch with him. Patrick had just finished working on the van so he's here in some scrubby mechanic clothes. Check out Bryce trying to and catching that ball. I think Bernadette would be proud of these photos. Loads of action!

He caught the first one but... well, missed the second one. I have other photos of him with the ball on the ground, mid air, with Daddy catching it and a few other random ones. Caleb wasn't interested in playing. He was still in his PJ's.

So that was Saturday early afternoon. Before I went off to work I started on a new project. I've had the book since February and haven't done a thing in it yet. So on Saturday I started. And I've kept it up so far. Let's see how far I go. It's a book called, "Wreck this Journal" by Keri Smith.

Before I go one about the book, this stamp sums up what it's all about...

This journal is all about the creative process. Being creative in new ways. In ways that the book prescribes. So, I did what the book told me to do, open up to the first page and start working on it. Here's what I have so far...

I know, not much to look at but it was fun to just write in a book and mess it up! I'm gonna work on another page tomorrow, we'll see what this book looks like in a few days.

My friend Fran reminded me that I haven't posted more pictures of the Haunted House. It's not done. It was supposed to be done a week ago but if you're a crafter, you know... sometimes things get sent to the back burner. But since it's already October, I'm gonna have to move it up! Look for some more photos soon!

I'm off to see what becomes of this long Red Sox game...

nice pics Kim!!!! If I had a small camera too, I'd never pick up my big one - so better to just have my one...

I'll have to check but if I have a small camera, it must come with a skinny button, right?
